World Handicap System Update 30/10/20
Update 30/10/20
We are pleased to advise members that the uploading of members details from our new software system, Intelligent Golf, to the WHS has now taken place.
Members can now register for My England Golf as per the instructions below .
Please note… There are still some inaccuracies in the playing history data used by England Golf but on the whole the issue with the incorrect tees recorded has been resolved. Some minor adjustments to remove abandoned or non qualifying competitions incorrectly used by England Golf will still be need to be undertaken manually from when the system goes live on Monday. Qualifying Howler scores also need adjusting to show the correct course played . A final transfer of playing data from the existing system will take place prior the official transfer to WHS which will include any qualifying scores recorded after 04/10/20 and new handicaps issued after that date. The handicap index shown currently may be subject to change as a result if you are affected by the above issues.
Intelligent Golf
We will migrating competitions from our existing software to the new Intelligent Golf platform soon. More will be announced later next week when all members will be emailed instructions how to register on Intelligent Golf. An app is available for Android and IOS . There will also be a link to the platform via the club’s website. Initially members will be able to see upcoming competitions , results , club news updates and their WHS handicaps via the Intelligent Golf platform and you’ll see a change to the touch screen in due course when we go live. Going forward there are numerous other features of the software which will be rolled out in due course. Tee bookings will remain on BRS for the foreseeable future.
