The Committee are pleased to announce that as from 8.00am on Wednesday 13th May 2020 the golf course will be open.
All plans and preparations are in place and we have secured the help of member volunteers to facilitate those plans. A massive thank you to all our volunteers without whom the course opening would not be possible.
While we are extremely happy to make this announcement, we must all remember we are still in the midst of a public health crisis and we must do our bit to continue protecting our NHS. We would ask all our members returning to the club to play to respect all our PLAY SAFE STAY SAFE rules and guidance ( see link below) . It has all been designed to protect as far as possible everyone’s health and wellbeing and this will remain our priority. Our plans and procedures will be kept under review daily and changes made if necessary, to ensure protection for all from the risk of contracting coronavirus.

While every attempt has been made to embed fairness and to cover every eventuality which may occur as we begin to experience the ‘new normal’ no-one committee or individual is perfect. Therefore, we would request patience during this time, and we ask all our returning members to respect each other on the course and treat our volunteers and marshals with courtesy always.
Finally, thanks to all the committee and green staff for all their hard work and dedication in making this happen.
