Winter Rules 2019/2020

PREFERRED LIES will be in operation on all fairways (closely mown areas) through the green from SUNDAY 13th OCTOBER 2019

Full Winter Rules come into effect Monday 21st October 2019

When a Winter Green is in operation, free relief MUST be taken when the ball lies on the Summer Green.

When Summer Greens are in operation free relief MUST be taken from Winter Greens.

All areas marked GUR, PP (Play Prohibited) are to be considered Ground Under Repair and free relief MUST be taken (This includes summer tees but only when ‘forward’ winter tees are in use whether marked GUR or not).

Free Relief may be taken from Casual Water, on the course – not in a penalty area (hazard).

With the agreement of the competitors in your group, free relief may be taken from tractor indentations and plugged balls, anywhere on the course, except in a penalty area (hazard).

Free Relief may be taken from any aeration holes present on the green.

Where constructed and marked out with “tee markers” and in play all Artificial Tee mats MUST be used. Players must stand on mat when playing shot and the ball must also be hit from the mat.

Please follow instructions on all signage particularly those directing players to specific ‘route ways’ to reduce wear and tear to surfaces. E.G to the left of the 8th green.
