NERGA INTERS (HCP 8-15) BLUE ZONE COMPETITION.
HOUGHTON LE SPRING GOLF CLUB
SATURDAY 31st AUGUST 2019.
In Saturday we hosted the above fixture in very blustery conditions which blew away much of our home advantage.
Eight teams of eight players took part with Hunley Hall finishing as the eventual winners.
Top visitor score on the day was 35 points top Houghton scores were Darren Jones 33, Brian Storey 32 and Michael Grayson 31.
Best news of the day was that Brian Storey has agreed to carry on as Team Manager for another year having done an outstanding job this year.
Finally the day brought in £648 to the club accounts.
Well done to all players and to the great volunteers who made the day possible, Joan Brown, Chris Bryson, Norman Baxter and Ian Baxter.
