Members Update 16/05/20

HOUGHTON LE SPRING GOLF CLUB – PLAY SAFE-STAY SAFE

Latest Update for Members 16.05.20

In the Committee’s update posted on the 14th May 2020 we informed members that the Covid 19 Sub-committee would be meeting over the weekend to review its existing plans and procedures which have covered the period between the 13th and 16th May 2020. I can confirm that meeting took place today, Saturday 16th May 2020, at 10.00am.

We have listened to all the feedback we have received since reopening from our officials, members, and volunteers. We thank everyone for their input.

As a result of our review, while always putting the health and wellbeing of our members first, we can confirm that some of our existing plans will be revised. These revisions will mainly affect the existing member booking procedure and playing restrictions.

The full details of these changes can be found in the updated booking guidance link here

We are hopeful all members will embrace these changes as a further positive step in our attempts to be fair to all those wanting to play golf, while always putting staff, member, and volunteer safety first.
