Booking Guidance from 6pm 14/06/20

Dear Members and Visitors  ,

Following the booking measures implemented for reopening on 13th May 2020 a Covid19 Sub -committee review of the period 13th May – 12th June 2020 took place 12/06/20

As a result of the review and having taken account of every possible factor to promote a safe golfing environment we can announce the following new booking guidance for members and visitors  which will come in to to place from 6pm Sunday 14th June  2020 for bookings from Monday 15th  June 2020 until further notice. 

Existing booking procedures remain strictly in place until then.

The full guidance relating to Covid19 measures when attending and playing remain in place and must be strictly adhered to as a condition of booking.

Key Points :

Bookings will be permitted for members , members guests and visitors.

Bookings will be available to book 7 days in advance

No play is possible without a prior booking and no-one is to use the course prior to the first tee time of 7.30am.

Please do not attend without a booked tee time you will not be allowed access to the course.

 

Members Booking Rules: 

Each day from 6pm  you will  be able to book for the next 7 days play via BRS ( not including pre booked competitions or opens) . 

Telephone bookings will be available from shop opening at 8am  for 7 days in advance as per BRS. 

Please avoid booking the same tee time everyday to allow fairness to all members.

Tees from 7.30 – 10.00 am will be reserved for members . 

Mon – Sun   – Members can play 1 pre booked round per day. (regardless of who makes the booking !!) 

Members may book 3 guests per day . This includes prior to 10am . Please ring and pay by card in advance of 1pm if tee booked after 1pm.  

Members may only use the Guest option on BRS when playing with a non member who will liable for the appropriate Green Fee. 

Do not book the ‘Guest With’ option if you are playing with a member.  We would still encourage playing with regular playing partners wherever possible.

Members may only book within the scope of your existing membership category ie. 5 day etc.

The above booking opportunities are now also available to junior members aged 14 and over. 

Juniors under 14 are permitted to play only with a playing adult member from the same household or must be be accompanied with a parent/guardian of the same household.

The practice area must also be booked and is available to book via BRS on a limited basis.

Use of the practice facility should only be booked if you are not playing the course that day.

Four ball  bookings  are permitted and single, pairs or 3 ball bookings may be subject to being joined by other bookings to make up to 4 balls during busier periods.

All bookings must state all members names at the point of booking. 

 

Corporate / 999 Members

All 999 workers on their respective corporate memberships are limited to  tee times via telephone bookings only and can now book  7 days in advance .  The full allowance of players permitted in one day is now restored and is subject to tee availability. Contact your respective Social Secretary or Website for details.  Do not register for BRS as it will not be enabled. 

Members must not reserve a tee time via BRS for corporate members.

 

Please consider course availability for all members and do not book unless you fully intend to play.

You must cancel any booking in advance if you are unable to keep your tee time without exception .

In all cases the course must be cleared by 9pm without exception.  As such,  tee times within 4 hours of sunset may not allow the full 18 holes to be played. It is not anticipated any more than 9 holes could be played after the last available tee time of 7:30pm.

BRS can be used to ensure measures are being followed. 

 

Using BRS for  members :

The vast majority of you will have by now registered to use the BRS Tee Booking System.

Should any members require a BRS login they must  first register using their membership ID number as their username via the link below

Once registered your account will be enabled by the competition team asap and you will receive an email to confirm that.

Please note most members will already have a BRS account even if it’s never been used or you may have  lost your password. Generally, if you were a member at the time the club introduced you should have an account.  If this applies please email your membership number, a preferred password and  your membership category  ( ie full , 5 day etc) to the competition team (email address below).

Facebook messages via the club messaging facility  can’t be guaranteed to be answered promptly and should be avoided.

Visitors: 

 Visitors may book  via BRS or telephone during shop opening hours.  Do not attend without a pre booked tee time. No visitors tee times will be available prior to 10am . 

The use of BRS is preferred so as to reduce  payments on arrival. Please use contactless card payments wherever possible when paying in the shop.

Ensure you retain proof of your booking for inspection on request.

Ensure you follow the Covid19 playing procedures at all times ( link below)  and follow any instructions from our club representatives on arrival. Do not arrive any sooner than 20 mins before your booked tee time.

Please consider that the course closes at 9pm without exception and as such we will not open visitors bookings after 5pm as 18 holes can not be guaranteed.

The full timesheet ie: 7.30 am  – 7:30 pm will be subject to the club having sufficient volunteer resources to ensure all the Covid19  measures are being adopted and may change on a daily basis if key volunteer roles cannot be filled.
