Welcome to 2011 from Amanda & Graeme in the Professional Shop, it promises to be a busy and exciting year for all of us who are involved in the golf club, whether as a Member, Guest, Visitor or Staff.

For us it is going to be a very hectic few weeks, kicking off with the refurbishment of the shop which should happen early February, we will then have all the stock arriving during late February and March.

The Club is hosting the Durham County - Inter County Foursomes Final in the middle of April so we will have the officials from both Durham and Northumberland visiting our course!

What Amanda and I have really missed over the last few weeks with the weather is the buzz about the shop from being the hub of the club with the Members, Guests and Visitors ringing, dropping in and generally passing through the professional shop; you know we are always here to help.

After the success of last autumns taster sessions we will be running these again starting very soon, please watch this space for more information.

To extend the Custom Fitting service that I offer, I am getting the latest Callaway Fitting Bag with interchangeable Head/Shaft combinations.  As you are aware I have been an authorised Ping Custom Fitter for the last two years.
